The College of Europe hosts the European Diplomatic Programme

On 23-25 September 2010, the first module of the 11th edition of the European Diplomatic Programme (EDP) will take place at the College of Europe in its Bruges campus.

The session is organised in the framework of the Belgian presidency of the EU and will be dedicated to “Effective multilateralism: the EU in international fora”.

The EDP is a training programme for young diplomats from the EU member states as well as European Commission and Council Secretariat officials. It allows to create personal networks among European diplomats and raises their awareness for the European dimension of diplomacy.

In parallel to their working groups, an informal meeting of the Training Directors of the Foreign Ministries as well as the directors of diplomatic academies and institutes will take place.
