The Department of European Political and Administrative Studies and the Department of European Economic Studies are pleased to announce the conference, “Exiting the Global Financial Crisis: European and National Strategies” on 4-5 March 2010.
Co-sponsored by the Departments of European and Administrative Studies and European Economic Studies, this conference aims to examine the consequences of the global financial crisis on Europe, how to transition from the crisis period to post-crisis period, and to devise strategies to avoid a new crisis.
Discussions will not be limited to macroeconomic and financial issues but also broader questions of institutional competences, national and European politics, and how the crisis has impacted other policies.
A copy of the programme is available.
The event requires advance registration, please contact Mrs Balbaert for further information.
